Kids insurance provides coverage for medical expenses, accidents, and unexpected events involving your child. It offers financial protection and support for parents, ensuring they can provide the best care for their children, especially as more and more provincial health plans limit their coverages and treatment services. Kids up to age 27 are eligible for this coverage as long as they are attending full time school.
What does kids insurance cover?
Kids insurance covers a range of expenses including broken glasses, dental accidents, critical illness, hospital expenses, medical equipment, emergency transportation, tutoring, and more.
Medical Expense Coverage
Coverage for medical expenses, including doctor visits, prescriptions, ambulance services, and hospital stays. This coverage also offers travel insurance coverages for kids travelling outside of their home province.
Critical Illness Insurance
Up to $5,000 of coverage for specific critical illnesses, providing a lump sum payment to help cover medical costs and additional expenses.
